Sigh. Life has been a complete whirlwind lately.
My mom & dad used to regularly tell me that I couldn't do everything that I wanted because it's possible to only pack in so much. Well, I have finally experienced the truth in their teaching. You can only do so much in four weeks.
Thus, the lack of blog posts in the last month. (Some of you have commented on this - thanks for commenting! I LOVE comments from anyone about anything.) Due to a broken computer cord, I can't share any photos at the moment, but let me just provide a little rundown of our latest activities:
In the last month we have packed up an entire apartment, moved it into a moving van, and then moved it from the moving van to a moving truck. We have taken a 4.5 day vacation to Golden, Colorado, to attend my cousin's wedding and to see lots of my extended family. I have brought a school semester to a close by giving final exams, doing lots of final marking and paperwork, and participating in the graduation ceremony. John has exhausted a gazillion lists of things to accomplish. We have said goodbye to many wonderful people in Langley - not an easy thing to do. We have welcomed my brother to Vancouver, shown him a few things, and then spent 2.5 days with him camping and exploring in Yoho and Banff National Parks. We have driven 35 hours across the country in one stuffed car.
And finally, we are now on vacation in Bemidji!
