Here's what my eye looks like today. The swelling has gone down a bit, but now the entire area is quite tender. It's actually quite green around the purple and blue, but the computer doesn't pick it up. It'll be interesting to see how my new employer responds to me this morning! An adult with a black eye teaching 11 year-olds?

Your students probably won't notice anything! All you need to do is match the other eye with dramatic makeup... then wear a black leather outfit and dye your hair purple or something... I'm sure it won't be a problem at all. :)

Yikes! When I saw the first picture on my blogger dashboard i thought - Wow -Charlotte is wearing makeup!!! Oh Charlotte - that looks soooo painful! I'm sorry. I hope sledding was worth it :)
