Coloring

Prior to this week, she's loved pounding the bag of crayons on the table, but her life is different now.  Helena has discovered the joy of  Crayola.

The magic really started when she learned to turn her TaDoodles upside down.

I taped her paper down and eventually put a second sheet to her right, but still...
any suggestions on how to protect my table from her art?

get an oil cloth :) you can usually buy it from the fabric store or you can order ones online :) they make great drop cloths for under high chairs when they're in the stage of throwing food on the floor or for the table for painting, coloring, stamps, play dough, pouring water... :) we've had ours for years :)

Tape down a newspaper covering the whole table near her...
Also, you should try oil pastels... I think that's what they are called.... the crayons that you don't have to press so hard to make the color appear. Ellie didn't like to color until we got those. :)
Fun, fun!
Another thing, once I was talking to Sanna about what to do with all my treasures... all of Ellie's artwork would take up two of our houses already! She said take a picture of it, then you don't have to feel bad when you throw it. :)
