As of today, we are car-less, soother-less, and TV-less.
We said goodbye to good old Tammy the Car on Monday. After living in the city for a year, we realized that we don't use the car very often. Next month we're moving to the smack-dab center of downtown, so then we really won't need a car!
Helena has now gone two full days without a soother (aka pacifier). She was doing really well until last night. Here's for hoping that today will go better.
Toronto has gone all-digital for TVs, so using my grandparents' old television with our antennae is no longer an option. For the month of September we're going to live without a TV and see what we think. I'm expecting long quiet nap periods at home with no TV and no computer but maybe I'll get lots of reading in.
What are you living without?

Yeah for the -less life. :) In spite of the fact that Graham and I went to Ikea, Target, and picked up more stuff at Jacqueline's house today, we want to join you in a simplified life. I'll let you know what revelations or triumphs we have. And way to go, living without a TV. It would be harder without a computer too, but I think your idea of listening to books on CD is really smart!
Love the no TV idea. We were TV-less until Sophia was over 2. Then we "inherited" a little one while I was on bedrest with Dillon, and we never went back. :(
Oh well, it really is rarely on anyways . . .
How 'bout no microwave? :)
